The Lancia community is spread around the world, but is a small one. Many Lancia owners know other ones, and stay in touch regularly. For those of us not in Europe, we build our own communities of fellow owners. The two largest gatherings are the Sliding Pillar in Europe and Castlemaine in Australia. In addition, the Registro Aurelia holds gatherings in Italy every year. Other events happen in the US, Italy, England, and with Lancia clubs in Europe.
Some of the occurrences for Lancista over the years include gathering at Padova, as shown below, or altho eBonfanti Museum in Italy which had a special show on just the Aurelia. at Pebble Beach when it had a special class for Lancia. Other events are shown as well.
Lancia folks are friendly. This was a special dinner in Padova in 2015, celebrating the launch of Lancia and De Virgilio, and was a rare gathering of Americans, Italians and other Europeans. From the left : the Steerman family (involved for more than 50 years with Aurelias), at the end of the table on the right is Giovanni De Virgilo, and in the far right, Beppe Regazzone, who has 60 years with Aurelias, and has driven over 1,000,000 km in his!
