Other Publications

Several small books have been put together over the years. These are publish-on-demand, fun and possibly interesting. They are much briefer and simpler than Lancia and De Virgilio, At the Center.

1.This is the detailed story of a B20 restoration. A rare 2nd series B20 had been abandoned in 1963, recovered in 1975, and left in the hands of a friend, untouched until reacquired in 2005. Order from:  www.lulu.com/

2. This is a reprint of the advertisements from the 1955 auto show in Torino. The ads are colorful and give a sense of the industry at that time. Order: http://www.blurb.com/b/1408397-27e-salone-internazionale-dell-automobile-torino

3. Lancia B20S is a photo record of one of  De Virgilio prototype SOHC motors from 1953-54 which he intended as Aurelia engine replacements. It was photographed by Ed Levin.

4. Lancia Reprints (also titled Lancia Machining) is a collection of articles, largely from American Machinist from 1928-29 on making the Lambda. The collection of articles is a remarkable source of period information. The reprint was done from scans of microfiche and the quality is not ideal but it is usable. Since then, original articles have been found for some of the material, and can be shared if there is interest. Order:http://www.lulu.com/shop/geoff
