Registro Aurelia

Each year the Registro Aurelia hosts an event or two in Italy. While the Registro is largely Italian in orientation, the cars that turn out are very lovely. Back in 2001 we attended a major Aurelia rally in the south of France, which was very delightful.

In 2017 they went to Viterbo (a wonderful Italian hill town). They also went to visit the Taruffi Museum, which had an exhibit on De Virgilio.
Also seen was one Motom, a special motorized 2 wheeler, designed by Falchetto in the 1940s, when he was on leave from Lancia. It featured an advanced chassis, made of two halves of pressed steel, clamped together.
